most poeple on there now adays arent what they used to be
boefore people were honest and respectfull now all you see
is a lot of business people asking for ridiculoas shipping prices

like for a stick of memory which is supposed to be less then
$2 ok maybe $4 they charge something like $20 and so on...

and then theres the people that dont answer to emails and
people that dont refund or keep the auction terms.. then when
you try to contact ebay you cant cause they got some weird
system.

ebay dont hav telephone operators. u can only contact them by email, which gives them the choice whether to reply or not. Its so easy to be screwed over, so i only ever buy small items like under £20 at most, in which i can pay by cheque or money order, so if the the seller fucks me over, at least ive only made a small loss and he doesnt end up with my credit card details if u see what i mean. There whole system is fucked up.

Ive bought a few things off ebay , ( Laptop Screen , PS2 , Loadsa Games Etc ) and ive never had a problem , ive bought goods in my own country , its very unlikey that you will get ripped off, each User has a comments of previous buyers or sellers , if the goods dont turn up then ebay will give you back 10% of the total value and that about that i think , happy bidding.

I've had 22 transactions on ebay. most buying, but some selling.

never had any problems. and if you're worried about shipping prices, send an email to the seller before bidding.

Their customer relations suck, I sold a fone & asked them to shut my account but they never and 3 months later they started bugging me for money, and added lots onto it, it wasn't a big amount, but it was the principal, for which I think sucked

i do agree with you that prices to ship do seem a bit ridiculous. however, think about it in a different way.. often times, people charge more than the normal shipping amount, to cover the cost to sell the item, and the percentage ebay gets.

for example, if i sell a shirt for 10 bucks, i still have to pay ebay something like 1.50 no matter what, just to do the auction, and then an addition x% of the final price. so really, ive maybe only made 7 bucks instead of 10. by tacking on an extra dollar or two, i make my real amount.

this could also be why big items that get a lot of money, those people sometimes say free shipping. but im sure all the regular people just like you, would rather make a decent amount of money.

Ebay is mint! Never had problems with it..just stay with ebayers with huge amts of feedback to be safe

the reason may be because the competition on ebay is so high that you have to barely sell over warehouse price. So basically most business sellers on ebay are making a few bucks from the shipping and handling costs. I bought a few things from businesses from ebay (which i check to see if they had alot of good feedbacks) and i was pleased with each and one of them. Just do some research and if you still dont like the whole price then jsut dont buy that item from ebay.
