Airbase pres. Ozone – ‘Theme From The Rock - RELEASE?!
very nice since TA had like the preview long before it hit the big market, thanx to airbase!! it's gonna be big!
TRANCE.NU -- Elusive dropped it on ‘The Summer Boat’ 2002 but later this year you might be able to pick up a vinyl copy at your local record store.

During Trance.nu’s ‘The Summer Boat’ in 2002 Elusive dropped a tune that really got people going. Not many had heard it, but everybody liked it – including the eminent guest DJs Airwave and DJ Fire from Bonzai. Word spread that it was Airbase’s ‘Theme From The Rock’, Jesper Söderlunds interpretation and re-creation of the movie score from the classic “The Rock” starring Cage and Connory.
The same month and coming the Trance.nu related Sacred Sounds Promotions offshoot promoted the tune together with other quality productions and E.G. Black Hole Recordings showed some interest, but too late. The massive anthem had already been picked up Misja Helsloot that had heard it on one of the send-outs and already got into talkings with the producer.
In Misja’s latest diary he reveals that he’s now trying to get the production cleared as it builds on the original theme from “The Rock”. In addition to that Misja will get some “exciting” remixes for the tune that will go on his Gesture Music. If things go well this monstrous tune will be cleared, released and do some serious damage to the club-scene this summer. Keep your fingers crossed and be sure that TNU will be first to deliver more news on this thrilling release!
Good to see that this one finally gets a release....but what I wanna know is how the hell they will manage to clear the production for this.Is Misja (labelowner of Gesture,where it will be released)really that rich?
I think you don't have to be that rich! Take a look how many (good and bad) dance versions from Hans Zimmers "Gladiator Soundtrack" were released!

He tried making gladiator a bit, imo it sounds pretty good.
