Short answer Yes,
Long answer, trance is me
Trance has allowed me to find and follow a true passion, trance allows me to express myself, and also given me greater acceptance of others.
I've met many a new friend (no not off chops!) from the music.
Not sure if life is built up of small steps, whatever way you wanna phrase life, trance is always playing in mine
Everyone I know who doesn't enjoy trance, just seems very up tight these days. I can TELL they aren't libereated, and it's farking weird coz you help them see freedom (for some IE us, it's trance).
I'm thankful every day for trance, and that's no shit.

Not really, no.
Trance is just music like any other genre. |
Personally I'm yet to see that.
RnB has a lot of gangsters about and is about how much gold you wear, and how good you dance, or if you can break dance. I place hip hop somewhere near here
Pop is all about how good you look and how many 10000 friends you know.
SOME house is about the clothes you wear and the drinks you drink
Hard trance is about getting of guts.
Trance, Uplifting Melodic Trance, is about emotion, letting yourself going, happiness and a europhic feeling, something none of the above can/all you to do.

To you, maybe.
I've personally never selected certain music style depending on what I wear, how tough I feel etc. etc.
To me music is music, regardless of genre. |
All music effects everyone, agreeded. BUT doesn't different styles make you feel different ways? Not saying one style of music is better than another but to me personally Trance is my fav, and has braught me through a lot.
ALSO different styles of music attract a different crowd, you have to give me that. EG Death Metal fan dressed in full latex; how many people like that do you get @ a trance gig? I've seen none, why? I assume (yes assume) that they are not attracted to trance.
I don't mean to be going against you all the time, I just think your points, in relation to mine require more depth/thought on my part to get my point across.
/djway lets the topic go back, on_topic.
