March 11th, 2003, marks the 100th unique DJ to spin at Homegrown.

Come down & celebrate the milestone with cake, booze and good music!

9pm-10pm: $4 vodka cranberry’s , half off all bottled beer and FREE cake!

TM: If there was ever one word to describe Timothy Michael, it would be the word 'unique.' Born and raised in New York City, TM has been around music since the day he was born. Timothy has a style he likes to call his "Culture Blend." Ranging from Hi-NRG to Deep House, from Progressive to Led Zepplin, there are no labels or boundaries in his sets, nor on his style, as he would simply put it "I play good music." He has the utmost respect for his craft, as well as the highest level of respect for the party people and the dance music scene, "it's all about the vibe and the people."

Leopard Lounge/Sin Sin is located at 85 2nd Ave. at 5th St - we’re on the first floor level. (take the F or V train to 2nd Ave. or the 6 train to Broadway & Lafayette, walk)

Homegrown is a free weekly showcase of NYC’s local up-and-coming DJ talent. Our sole purpose is to support New York City's thriving DJ scene. No attitudes. No discrimination based on experience. Simply an intimate setting where bedroom DJs get a shot at the spotlight and music heads get a chance to hear the unheard.

Every week all the DJs sets are recorded and then broadcasted on the web at www.metromixradio.com. Open call to DJs: come down and submit your demos for an opportunity to spin in the future. Four 60-minute slots are available each week to be filled by up-and-comers and bedroom DJs alike, not to mention some very special guests. Come out to support your local talent and have a good time.

i used to go to homegrown a lot when weeknights were easier for me. it is a good party. have fun.

yea..i spun at like the 4th week of homegrown. its really a special event that gives bedroom djs a shot at the spotlight. bog and ron are really cool to..never been to sin sin before..i spun when they were located at rout 65a bar or something like that..well good luck spinnin suneel.

edit: ohh and dont spin a whole lotta trance..i did that and every1 shunned me there practically lol..spin prog and theyll be happy

The venue is actually downstairs from Leopard Lounge, where I have a monthly gig. As for spinning trance, I never play just trance, I always try to mix it up, not to make the crowd happy, but myself....

BTW: For those who are dying to hear quality trance in NYC, im currently working on establishing a nice venue where you'll be able to hear top-notch trance every week for free...i'll keep TA's posted..
