Hmmm seems like he's tryin quite hard these days to present himself to us Westcoasters in 2003...that and his new cd Global...
I bet he's disappointed he lost to Tiesto fer no.1 dj! hahahahahhaa Im sure he'll win this year...

I know that tiesto won't win it again, but I dunno if PvD will take number one, cuz I think that Armin has somethin to say about that!!!!

"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge

i can vouch for that... Armin came to Japan in january, only like 5-600 people showed up, at a venue that could hold 4000+... AND he was teamed with Barthezz... my hypothesis is he's just too slow for Japanese... kinda why Tiesto never pulls in Japan... PVD shows ALWAYS sellout, he has a residency at the Liquid Room for two shows a year...
yall just wait, Yoji Biomehanika is gonna be one of the top rated DJs soon... only reason why he's not yet, doesnt get around to the western side of the planet enough yet, but thatll soon change from what im hearing...

Oooh yea he's a pretty nutty guy that yoji!!! I got to see him spin along w/ likes of Tidy Boys and Kimball Collins on the Music is Life tour in LA. He put an amazing set up...FULL of energy.!!!! He needs to improve on his technique tho...he made two major biffs in mixing. But if he's got taht down, his mixing would be WHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea, but in terms of a well-rounded DJ...Paul is gonna take it hahahaha.
