lets hope it lives up to even half the hype that the developers got going for it. instead of doing interviews and talking about how amazing this game will be they should spend that time actually developing it whoa! now there's a crazy idea (yes, i don't like xbox )

dude xboxs hardware and software capabilities completely blow ps2 out of the water. the only thing 2 things ps2 have on xbox is the game selection (more games, which means a lot, don't get me wrong) and the xbox carries the "m-word" logo (microsoft ). dude get this. my girlfriend bought me my xbox and i can be very stubborn at times. well we got into an argument. so to prove a point i threw my xbox off my 3 story balcony onto a concrete sidewalk with a game in it. the power and eject button is attached to the face peice which came off on impact unconnecting the wire. took it apart, plugged it in, and it works as good as new, game and all. top that!

i don't own a PS2, and I do know that the Xbox is more powerful than the PS2

I own that 3rd console, that everyone thinks it's a weak, failing and for kiddies because of the purple colour and company's rep; even though i own 5 games for it, none of which are slighty childish, and will own more that aren't "kiddy". And it pumps out graphics on par with Xbox's best not only that, but it's not even purple :O it's platinum coloured, and the LED light is white (looks sooo cool)

gamecube does not have good as graphics as the xbox

ya, ok...resident evil 4 looks better than anything xbox has showed so far; with the exception of Halo 2. the 2 consoles are on par pretty much. Xbox does some things better than Gamecube, and Gamecube does some things better than the 'box.
