what a fucking travesty..after playing the first DMC which was awesome i expected so much from the sequel but for it to be so disappointing as it is is just plain wrong...sigh

Yeah I went out and rented this game. Unfortunalely this game wasn't like the first one at all. Very easy, lame if not existing story, and the fact that it just felt rush made it truly a bad game. Its not to say it sucks, its just that the ideas weren't used to their full potential.

i think it's really nice... ok, i expected it to be better, but there is some thing's that i like more then DMC..... but some thing's should have stayed on DMCII like it was on DMC...

but it's still a good game

word on the complete crapiness of part 2, i was so freakin pissed, I mean after waitng months expecting this wonderful sequel/addition to the first, I was rewarded with arse.
I actually feel a little better since I didnt waste my money on it i was fortunate to learn of its lack of comparison to the original first

i didnt find the first dmc to be challenging to me at all...a bit menotonous actually...i never bothered to rent the second one and from reading all your reviews i dont think i will. i played and beat it in one night when it first came out. that actually brings back some funny memories. my bf at the time didnt believe me that i was a vg freak so he handed me the game and bet me a 12 pack that i couldnt do anything with it lol...

I do give the game some credit. it fixed some the problems with the first one, only to create new ones. the difficutly level and the story were horrible. i do like the fact that they juiced out more from this game. but on the other hand, the levels sucked bad. way to open for a game like this.
