I was wondering what a good progam would be to change teh bitrate of an Mp3. I tried using the stuff ont he site but it didnt work for me. If anyone could let me know what they use that would be great. Thanks

I usually use cdex ... its free... and works.

Lame encoder is the best one i know of, can easily use the program

Why would you change bitrate of your mp3s? From higher to lower sucks because you ruin sound quality and from lower to higher... you should never ever do that

well if you're putting it on a webpage as background music, you need to lower the bitrate because people can't easily stream 192kbs.
