1) well you can partition a drive by doing the ol way fdisk from the command prompt, BUT that gives you a very limited option, and plus you have to delete all your info and then start over again. Best thing to do, use a program like partition magic, it allows you to create a partion, resize etc etc etc, without affecting your configuration, or without formatting, so you can have say win98 on c: and you can have d, e , f (you get the point) lots of partition.
2) .iso are file image formats designed to be burn on cd, so yeah basically you burn it on a cd. and you can read it like a normal cd' no need to boot it up from startup.
3) Not too sure what you mean by "clean install" what are you trying to do, use the add/remove option in control panel? in that case yes it removes your file the same as a uninstall, same thing different word, but if you want to really removed the program completely use a program such as cleansweep, it takes out all the unwanted files, u can get most of these program from a warez site or buy it if you want i have them so let me know if u want it
