Just said by Brokaw on MSNBC, saying we shouldn't damage the country too much "because we will own it in a few days."

So much for "liberation."

Did brokaw just use someone with a bayonett chasing a guy around an orchestra pit as an analogy? The guy has lost his marbles.

That sounded bad, scary stuff, and its all just the beginning. Poor people in Iraq. I just heard that all the people in Iraq are so angry at Bush right now...

Yea I have to admit the military naming conventions are pretty retarded. Anyway it looks like tonight's strike was only a prelude of what's to come. Just a few missile strikes. All bets are off as to when the actual ground war will start.

but wouldnt it even make more sense strategicly to attack the weapons of mass destruction that the US has so much proof about, thereby eliminating the threat of Iraqi retaliation, and leaving Saddam little to no options?

yes it would...but in time my friend.....the CIA had good reason to suspect these leaders to be gathering...so they took the rare oppurtunity/....i think they US deserves some credit for that....
