Haven't seen the goal....

he got a perfect pass and caught a defender off line. had two defenders behidn him and the goalie rushing toward the ball. henry gets to the ball and does a spin move confusing the goalie,then lightly tapping it into the empty goal

I was gonna post about that goal, but didn't get a chance and just loged in now.
But that was creative as hell, he embarrased the golie.
Very classy move, I'n not sure what fifa is waiting to give him player of the year.
His running ability is so smooth he glides, and his acceleration is perfect, he just plays with so much ease he reminds me of the old brasilian players from the late 80, ala socrates, etc...

Henrik larsson is better than henry. of course you probably don't see much of him playing but if you did you would be amazed at how cosistently performs and more to the point how consistently he scores goals.

He is the best headerer of the ball in the world. nuff said.

Larsson is definately a great player. I saw him @ work when he still played at Feyenoord.

You can't compare Henry and Larsson though. Henry playes in a competition that is way better then the Scottisch league (no offense).

none taken. but i still reckon the fact that celtic payed a miserly 600,000 british pounds for henrik makes him pound for pound a much better player.

I also believe henrik could hold his own in any league in the world.

No really... I think Henry's right up there with the best but hes not THEE best!! Thats award has to go to the one and only Vieri and Mackay a close second.
