i took one
it was long and i don't understand how it can detect a bias. thoguh half the answers i got wrong were cause i had my fingers trained to type the wrong key.

i'll be one to admit that i strongly bias towards the other peoples... in the arab test, that is

it's not surprising.. i can get pretty racist

i took that one too and i was surprised. i thought i had a slight preference against but it told me i have no preference.

i also took the gay/lesbian one and it told me i have a slight preference for gay/lesbian when i thought i had none.

and i forget what it told me about native americans. i had a preference for something but it was only ranked 8%.

so far, most of my feelings are in the minority.

I actually think these tests aren't BS. They are quite accurate, and they are very very logical.

They get your brain to associate with what is good and bad... and have it drilled into you.

Then, when they bring up these concepts of gay vs. straight, or arab vs. other peoples... you're making a conscious effort to try to answer good or bad, but if you're doing it quickly, you'll just associate good and bad with those categories.

hah, beat me to it. i glanced over these 'tests' and instantly closed my browser. the first question they asked me when i took the 'bias black/white' quiz was 'i prefer white adults over black adults' or 'i prefer black adults over white adults' if you can answer either question why do you need to be told you have a racial bias. boring and pointless. there are only biases because people are reminded that skin color makes a difference..

those questions aren't part of the test, they're optional

I think we can conclude that you're all clearly biased against bias tests

all the stuff before the test is for demographical purposes I believe and it doesnt affect your score at all, in fact you dont even have to fill it out AFAIK

Why? They're supposed to be made by specialists and stuff... besides, even if the result is wrong, it might make you reflect about the issue.
