Best DVD Players? No security codes, jpeg, mpeg etc etc

I'm new to the world of DVD players and was wondering if there is anyone here who can help me search for a good one.

-I'm intereted in playing mpeg files on CD-R's
-No security codes
-Plays jpg's mpeg etc.
-Progressive Scan
-6 channel outputs- sub, front speakers, surrounds center etc.
-Plus whatever else makes a nice unit...

Any suggestions for me?

the Cyberhome 500 is the best sub $100 hackable dvd player.

If you've got the cash, spring for a malata DVP-520 . They are the best all region ntsc/pal dvd players.

most dvd players can be hacked with a simple serial number. Just dont get a toshiba

(I'm gonna try burning mpeg's on CD-R's I need a unit that wil accomodate this)
