me and my mate, who live 300 miles apart wana play each other at C&C, the first original one. i hear u have to have a server to host your game, anyone recommend a free one or know of hows the best way to work this?

isnt it possible to just host a game and let the other one join by IP? If you use modems you can dial up each other...ive done that myself back in the time
