My sister made me move my equiptment into a different room because of the noise, so i had only one choice, which was a sun room. I found out that after i moved everything in there, that there is no heat at all. And my 12's and my mixer are just freezing cold. Is this bad for my equiptment?

extremes in weather are not good for anything electric-- that is extremely cold or extremely hot. Judging from your location-canada- I bet you see some pretty extreme low temps. might wanna invest in a space heater. Not only for your equipment, but for yourself-- so you don't die of hypothermia.

haha..you think its that cold here?
he lives in Van, its barely chilly there.
it should be fine. It might take longer for your amps to turn on and get running, and condensation on the circuit boards(from cold air) could short things, but if you have a good seal around the windows, you should be fine.
and for that to happen w/ the condensation, you have to be damn unlucky.

It isn't good to be in a room that has a climate that changes with the outdoors. If it is cold then sudenly becomes warm, you can get condensation on your mixer's internal circuts, which when you turn it on may cause a short circut. Just be careful that you also keep your equipment and especially vinyl out of direct sunlight.

If I were you I would keep the room temperature as steady as possible (preferrable a nice temperature) tus avoid any problems with you equipment/vinyls. Buy an automatic heat system or something, it costs less than you think.

To keep it simple: temperatures between +15 and +25 are excellent
Relatively humidity: more than 50% is bad...
