Exclamation Want to work on remixing your tracks... [Release possible with UL Recordings]

OK, here we go...
First of all this is about all the amateur producers in TA that produce house, progressive house or progressive trance (127-135bpm) and maybe some other genres as breakbeat...
This is for those you want to promote their name, but don't look to make a profit by releasing a track in this beginning stage of their carrer.
So, if you want your name to be printed on a CD, and you are ready in earning no-money from this, go on reading this post... Oh yes, I won't make any bucks too...

I work as a dj/producer/remixer for Underground Lessons Recordings, located in Greece. This is a rather small label, started last year. It has already 2 vinyl releases and a CD Compilation. During (or after) this summer they want to release a CD compilation with tracks from various producers. As a main ULR artist, I was asked to deliver some remixes... So I guess this is a good opportunity for all of us here since the CD will have world-wide distribution and another label might want your track to release it in single vinyl... who knows...

So if you are interested in letting me remix your track, please let me know...
IF they like it, the track will be included in the CD with the following format : "Your Name - Title (Andrew K Remix)" and you will also have the opportunity to include a brief biography of you in the sleeve...

If your track is released, this will be contract-based, and you will able to re-sell your track anywhere you want without needing permition of ULR. If you want to sell my remix, then I will have to get a percentage, that we will agree that time...

So, if you are interested in this, let me know, so I can set you up a ftp account to upload all the samples of your track...
I will need all the loops, the effects, the vocals, generally all the layers and sounds that are in your track...

Please keep in mind, that there is a big possibility that your track is not released, but I guess we have nothing to lose!
Also be sure that I will do nothing with your track or samples unless I have your permition...

my first record i had out earned me nearly £700, which although aint relativly that much. it bought me studio kit.
i bet you want the publishing rights to the tune as well in this 'contract'.

anyway...im sure everyone on here would probably prefere their first release on vinyl. dont know about you but having it on a cd is not quite the same feeling as wacking on your new white label and hearing a few crackles on your creation....

if their tunes are any good they should have no trouble getting a release for themselves really.

sounds a bit suss mate. and why cant you write your own tune for it?

and forgive if im not familiar with your work but do anyone have any proof of your remixing talents?

look mate,
I am not paul van dyk or tiesto...
All I am trying to do is to promote my name and help other people to promote their name too...
If I was a talent, I wouldn't even be here to post all these...

Judging from myself, I thought there are many people who are interested in promoting their name in the beginning rather than making some money.

Obviously we all prefer a single vinyl release, but as I said ULR will not get the rights from these tracks, it will be a license for only this CD compliation...
hope this clears the things a little...

btw, gareth, no, I am not doing this for everyone, you were the first one that I proposed this thing cause I really liked your track, but then I thought I could give it a try to work with more people globally
