godaddy.com for a domain name. 9$/year

atlnetworks.com for great hosting and cheap prices.

Frontpage is the easiest to start with.

Well, alnet.com or whatever doesnt really tend to interest me personally.
Standard you get 65mb of space, 3 gb of transfer 1 mysql account for 30$?!

go with
http://www.wbws.net/
For 24.99 you can get
800mb of space
15 gigs transfer
50 my SQL accounts
Unlimited Pop3 accounts
Unlimited sub domain's

And so much other good shit.
Plus the customer service is great
And a .com adress for 8.95 (1 year)
No contracts.

I run my web page through them. They are really good.
EDIT:
Ez-PHP editor for PHP
Or Frontpage

its 3 databases... in each one of them you can have unlimited number of tables. So basically, you can have all your data in only 1 database and you're ok. The only limiting factor is their size which shouldn't go above your account size limit.

But if the person who started this thread knows nothing about starting a webpage, I doubt he would know anything about mysql

Well, actually, If anything, It all depends on what your doing with it, Because you need alot of bandwith for certain things..
Right now I am looking for a host that will support 50+gigs monthly, I will most likely have to pay about 100$, But thats ok

I heard there's a host that offers unlimited bandwidth for 8$ a month... A friend of a friend has a page with 1.5M+ hits a month on it. I'll have to ask!

What you guys think about gisol.com, powweb.com and aplus.net? I'm also looking for place to host my personal DJ mixes.
