Just had a good listen to the track in question.
Hmmmm, not quite sure how to reproduce that effect, but here's some guesses on what you might try:
- Try running a second copy of the vocal, detuned from the first (hmmmm, maybe try some extreme settings on a chorus effect too), perhaps try offsetting them a little in time from each other
- There's a lot of reverb running on those vocals
- Try distortion on the vocals, well, that's what it sounds like to me
