PVD "Hello Moto" - Motorola Music

thought this would be better here than in the track ID forum as this advert is on UK TV. Its the motorola advert - the one that sponsors films on ITV, was just wondering if anyone ehre knows if its an actual tune and what the name is.

A link to the polyphonic ringtone is here:

http://direct.motorola.com/eng/GBR/...torolaMusic.mp3

The tune is labelled:
Paul Van Dyk - Motorolla Music

Thanks alot for any help

hey nell,

Paul has been playing this tune since november last year, being Okyo in Denmark one of the first place he played in which we obtained a sample. (look for pvd @ okyo set, track #7)

He still plays this tune, and it will be on Paul's album "Reflection." however, the titel for this track still unconfirmed.

(I love it since the first time I heard! )

"The 3 ads, with the strapline, “Motorola - intelligence everywhere” were shot on location in Sydney. In the first ad, electronic DJ, Paul Van Dyk, is driving through the city at night when he gets a call on his Motorola. The ring tone is one of his own dance tracks and has an immediate effect on his surroundings. The traffic lights change in time with the music, cars bounce up and down to the rhythm, street lights and building lights flicker on and off, creating a club-like flash of lights on the crowds of people walking by. It’s as if the whole city is possessed and “dancing” in time with the rhythm. As the ring tone builds into a crescendo a great flock of birds swoops across the cityscape, moving with the atmospheric music. Van Dyk takes the call and the city returns to normal. [...]

heh.

You poor misguided uninformed fool. PvD doesn't care about money, he's doing this for his fans

To be honest, I preferred the old "I wanna play some day, yeah, play, play umf" one
