I've just had it with all the "stop the war" protesters!
When is it going to end? :/
Here's some quotes from ppl protesting today:
| quote: |
"I think the war is not ending -- it's only just started," said Sue Wyndham, a 54-year-old protester in London. "They're going to go into Syria or Korea next, anywhere they feel they can use their power."
|
Oh Really? Who told u that? Santaclaus?
| quote: |
"This is the beginning of a whole new war by the United States, which is also trying to control Cuba, Syria, and other Latin American countries," said Marco Del Bufalo, 37, a high-school teacher.
|
Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer.
| quote: |
"Occupation is not liberation," said Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, a civil rights lawyer and an organizer of the Washington rally. "Whether they can conquer it militarily is one thing; whether they can turn it into an obedient client state is another."
|
I think they are doing what they can do to turn Iraq into a obedient client state!! (oh such fancy words)
And such a nice slogan, "Occupation is not liberation"
I'll be damned, it's not only catchy and misleading but it rhymes too!
I must have trained you well young apprentice!!
| quote: |
"We must not forget that this war remains an illegitimate war without the authorization of the United Nations," said Mouloud Aounit, the head of anti-racism group MRAP.
|
Ok, I agree but it depends on how u look at it.
But maybe ur right, we should have waited until the U.N weapon expectors found Saddams WMDs so we could ask him to hand em over.
| quote: |
"American and British soldiers may have occupied Iraq, but they have failed to win the hearts of the Iraqi people," Mohammad Selim, 10, said at the protest sponsored by Islamic and leftist parties and anti-war citizens' groups.
|
Hmm... I see that lil Mohammad here is only 10 years old.
I'm sure he hasn't been influensed by any relatives.
Again, they are doing the best they can.
Besides how would u know, ur not in Iraq now are you?
| quote: |
"That Saddam Hussein was removed was good, but not the way it was done," said Kurt Junesjoe, a 63-year-old protester in Stockholm.
|
Erm...
Okey Kurt! (gotta lova that name)
How would u have liked to handle this?
Oh I know, lets wait til he dies and let his sons take over!! Yay!
Lemme tell ya abit about Kurt.
Kurt has been yelling about this war for months now, he just figured out that he was wrong about it but he hasn't got the guts to tell everyone that he was wrong. So that why he added "but not the way it was done" to his sentance.
| quote: |
Supporters of the war also rallied in Washington Saturday. "I hope the troops can see us across the seas," said Bonnie Hayslip, 48, a housewife from Pennsylvania.
|
Supporter of the war?
Gotta be a type-o.
Nah! They can see all of you.
They are out risking their lives so I think they really appreciate your support.
Isn't it abit late for demonstrations?
The war has been going on fo 3 weeks now.
Anyways, I've just had it with all these anti-war rallys!! Needed to vent.
LateR!
