Yes, I agree with that.
Get some kicks, snares, claps, hi-hats, lo-hats, tambourines, and experiment with arranging them, this way and that!

you would be amazed with how many good percussion samples there are on the net. if you are using reason, i suggest getting the refills PERCUSTUFF and PNS Dance Drum Kit.

I havent actually ever finnished a song with a (pre made/sample cd etc.) loop, ive played with em, but i didnt like the fact that i couldnt compress the drum on it's own etc.
I didn't have any freedom, and i didnt like it.
@ robstar, yeah, thats ok i spose , you're just chucking them over the top of your own percs . And anyhow, your signed, im not, your good, im not , so who am i to argue
