Today on my way to work, I've noticed that more import cars have American Flag stickers then American cars. Kind of ironic, eh?
Another pointless post I guess.

What's ironic about it? Americans buy imports too. Welcome to a world of global trade.

And that many/most "import" cars sold in the U.S. are actually assembled in the U.S.
And as far as civics go...They are great...I wish everyone drove em and lowered em and pimped em out...That way, in case I had and unavoidable collision with one, I'd just run it over with my 4x4...kinda like a minny monster truck

Yeah, I forgot that most of the imports are made in the US, but that still makes them just that an Import. I just thought it was ironic when people are like "Yeah I have American pride" and then they stick a sticker of the American flag on their Japanese car. Not like there's anything wrong with owning a Japanese car or that the car you buy makes you patriotic or not, I just thought it was kind of ironic.
And when you have a 60 mile commute to work, you do think alot, and you listen to alot of fecking cds!

The import not being imported factor has always screwed with my head...
So I owned a Nissan Sentra a couple of years ago, and parts are super expensive because it's Japanese right? But the parts are manufactured in Cincinatti, Ohio!
Meanwhile, I've had American cars that featured parts made in Japan, and yet they're uber-cheap here...
Just goes to show that companies charge prices based on the perception of reasonable more than anything...
