Wearing sunglasses in the club...cool, wank, or functional.
Surely there's plenty of TOTAs who bring sunglasses to the club. I have done so myself. What do you guys think about weaering sunglasses in the club? Does it make you look like a wanker or poser? OR is it purely functional in easing the bright lazer lights on the eyes?
My verdict? Sometimes 6-8 hours of lazers and strobes can get pretty intense on the eyes (especially if you're on E and everthing gets too intense) so sunglasses can be functional at clubs like Viva and Guv. But clubs like System that always seem so dark, I have no use for them...so I don't bring em..otherwise I feel that I look like a dink.

Fashionable? probably that too.
Helps when you are drunk/high to hide those messed up eyes (not that i've ever been like that ) or to ease the crazyness.

Allow me to second that. (minus the Shopping Druggies part, 'cause I don't know if I can tell in the dark! ) I don't think they're necessarily all that bad, but it's sort of annoying (? for lack of a better word) when the majority of people in a club are wearing them. I've never found the lights that bad that I needed to wear sunglasses, but that's me. Some do look rather nice and it can be a good "fashionable" touch, as Carlos mentioned. I'm on the fence for this one.

To this day I stil laugh at all the people who see it fit to wear their sunglasses to the club. Poser is a good word for it too but then again I think the same way about glow sticks.....
Especially when you see the same people without them at the start of the night with out them, then all of a sudden they pull them out and put them on....what are they thinking "Oh it's about that time, I should put my shades on ???"

wank... unless they're clear glasses.. but then whats the point of wearing them? I'm a firm bileaver in functionality when it comes to glasses.
depends..some have 100% functionality, I dont see that being the case @ Guv(unless there is an outdoor area I dont know about)
but say @ Space 34, you wander out onto the terrace @ 6 am and the sun is fucking blinding, compounded by the fact youve been in complete darkness the entire night, and perhaps have some dilated pupils from your enjoyment that night....so there its not only excusable, but a good idea.
anywhere else its a shitty idea. The walk from the door to your car isnt that bad.
