I just responded to a post on Ecstasy and wanted to know what everybody felt about Ecstasy and the dance music scene. I'm curious about weather you feel it's messing the scene up or is it a good part of the experience for you. Just curious....

extasy has been given a very bad reputation, if the user is responsible and drinks water, doesnt mix it with other drugs ESPECIALLY alcohol, it is probably one of the safest drugs there are. So many myths exist about extasy it is rather sad and since it is a newer drug it gets blamed for a lot of things due to peoples lack of knowledge of it. Alot of people seriously dont understand chemistry, they merely think that alcohol plus extasy is some soft downer with a stimulant, rather than a chemical reaction but often cases are that 1 beer can put ya in a coma or siezure on extasy, on the other hand use it responsibly and it can make a very great evening, and everyone i have spoken with agrees that it gives you a deeper appreciation for the music after youve rolled and listened to it. People who are drug free right on! probably wiser, as for drugs you take any drug you are taking risks some more than others,
all in all i think extasys misconception sucks, and the drug is as good as the user.

Final verdict good, when used responsibly.

As for the straight edgers please dont turn this into a drugs are bad drug slandering post.

WOW, I really feel that the above sums it up. I think the place that the general population is going wrong is just a simple lack of knowledge about the drug, and the understand that ANYTHING used in moderation can be safe and enjoyable as long as it’s used in a responsible manner.

Like many things in life, I believe Ecstacy is good if used properly and in moderation, but it can be bad if used improperly, ignorantly, or excessivly

it's not like there's going to be a chemical reaction from mixing the two, lol. it's just that alcohol dehydrates your body, and that's something you want to avoid when you're high on E in a hot dancefloor. also, purists might say that alcohol contaminates the high, which makes sense.

anyhow, the trance/edm scene owes a LOT to E. it can be very bad for you if you take it regularly or mix it with other shit. and it can also lose its initial charm after a while. so the best thing is to do it on very very special ocassions.

my mates girl had 1 beer with a hit of E and went into shock, that is why i say especially not alcohol, lots of expiriences with E and Alcohol = 105 temperature and bad side effects, just my advice it aint wise, its your body chance it if ya want, but water is best friend for someone who is rolling, that or gatorade :P The two just dont combine well,

as for Extasy it is ironic its harms list is almost identical to gardening on a hot summer day
