if the dj mag poll voting started today ..............
.........Chris liebing would easily make the top ten.
never before have i seen such demand from both trance and techno fans for *gulp* a proper techno dj.
i have to say i thought last year his recorded sets left a lot to be desired but this year i've never heard a bad report. i would love to see him myself but he never plays glasgow.

People like Hawtin wipe the floor with him, but he's still a "fun" DJ to dance your ass off too. Adam Beyer beats him in this category, too though.

Its about time folk realised how good Chris is and has always been. His effort put into making one of the best albums of this year is outstanding. I actually voted Chris my number 1 a few months back and I still wouldnt really change my vote (Even though I did see Mauro on Saturday and I filled my pants )
Goo on that man Liebing

Hawtin has a bad attitude tho and a lot of trance fans who also like techno don't respect his outspoken comments on the genres, so they'll go for liebing or someone else

I try to seperate the personal with the professional level. I might agree that some elitist comments by techno dj's are shit and annoying but I can still respect them as talented discjockeys. Same goes for PvD whose political ambitions I didnt really approve but who I still massively respect and admire as a musician/dj.
