yeah.. could use some mastering a bit

just my personal opinion, but the tempo could be upped a notch.. by 5 bpm maybe?

Ok... I like the percussion... it's thick, heavy, and sounds unique.
Just the general atmosphere of the track is excellent... that feeling... feels like i'm the jungle or something lol

However, one thing that I find a bit annoying and repetitive is the main synth... It just kinda gets repetitive after a while of listening to it.

But I am really digging the percussion on this track...

great work

Rhythmwise I like it alot, but the original's synths (which I think are too loud), don't really fit with your bassline. Notewise.

yeah, i asked john for the notes to the synthline instead of a loop cos i also felt i couldnt make them sit in the track!

cheers for the feedback so far

martin mate, what can i say, im proud of you, this is by far the best production ive heard you make. very heavy and hectic, my only gripe is your synthriff is a little too loud, and id say you need to quiten that a bit, and try and add sumthing else in there to make it a little more interesting, other than that, great work my friend. finish this before you go onto sumthing else, you little buggah
:P

EDIT: btw mate, you seem to have gotten your intro problem sorted, usually your intros are wayyyyyyyyyy too long, but this is about right in my opinion, well done [also i was playing this on +8]

thanks very much for the feedback Jay

yeah since i posted up the track ive taken into accoun t the things said and have made a few minor changes!

the main thing im trying to change is the synthline, although its proving quite difficult!

well im glad ive shortened the intro down and i will finish this before moving onto my next track but i might have guessed id wouldve been pitched up anyway

cheers for the comments guys i appreciate it

anymore?

Okay, I'm typing while I listen. I don't know the original so I can only comment on this itself. I like the intro percussion. Sounds really cool. Gets very techy which I like. What would be nice though would be some meatier perc samples. The ones you use are fine, but a little too "brushy" for me.

There is a bit of a problem with the clarity of your overall song. This is probably becasue you are building by adding different sounds, which is fine, that what i do too, but when you add each sound, it is filling the mix up more and more. All these sounds compete for space and it makes it hard to hear everything properly.

I think the lead sound is a bit off. Maybe too much resonance? Its hard to tell. If you could clean that sound out a bit, it might sound better.

At 6:20 when the lead goes away, it sounds really nice. You should be able to hear this sound when the lead is still going. So maybe some more attention to the individual levels of each track. I would say lower the volume of the melody becasue it is too overpowering.

Keep em coming mate. It can often be hard making this type of music clear because of the amount of different sounds coming out at the same time. Don't forget to pan percussion (if you haven't already. Also, if you have lots of perc in there, try muting one of them. If it doesn't seem to make a difference to the sound of the song, then get rid of it because it is taking up valuable frequency real estate. If you can hear the sound go away though, then obviously leave it in.

Keep em coming mate.
cheggy.

Listening now.

Nice intro, as Cheggy said, getting nice and techy. The percussion is generally very good, but i was left wanting a few regular shuffled hats, and some more grimey/dirty stuff as oposed to the cleaner/high pitched stuff you've got going.

As others mentioned, the synth can be a bit irritating/loud, but overall the track is very good.

Nice work, enjoyable to listen to

Loving the intro mate!

Not to sure about the snare sample youve used

2mins into it and this sound great, not one major flaw yet! 2:19, the perc reminds me of Marco V for some reason

Ok on the breakdown at the mo! yea the main sytnh doesnt fit your bassline notes as pointed out, sounds really bad because of it If this was sorted, then the tune would be pumping big time now, unfortunatly it isnt

Gets a bit repeatative in places, btu aside form that and the bassline, your on to a big winner!

Congrats

Shep
