Ok and now I say this Dave...first of all interent prices are not the cheapest . Call some travel agaencies and find out>? Alot of places travel agnets buy bulk tickets so they get discounted prices as oppossed to the internet. I find your internet prices funny becasue my friend just came back from Toronto and round trip from Toronto for him was $900 ...and San Fransisco and L.A. to to Taipei ...well my friend just came from L.A. and paid $560 ..hmmmm so much for you internet prices.

Ok so it's a little more expensive but not much .Ok So lets say you wanna go somewhere in the U.S.A How much does it cost for a hotel room , to eat out and entertaintment? Or even to go camping in a national park?????...car rentals or public transportation??? Ok pretty much anywhere in South East Asia you can get by on $10/day at the most /. I just got back from Indonesia and $8 american got me a room/ food/ drinks and surf board rental and a scooter rental fro one day.......everything I need.. I stayed for 10 days this time and spent $90 american..that's one day in america almost $90 day in america is a extreme budget.

You also said taking a 10 hour flight??? Not wanting to take a 10 hour flight casue it's to long is being lazy I think. And as for driving acrss the border??? So all the people in the states live right along the border?? To get from New York to Toronto is like a 10 hour drive last time I checked?

Aussies are the most well travelled people in the world and they just don't sit in their country . It's expensive to go out of their country too.....
