i wont bother saying its not better than the original cos u already know that :P the main thing with this track is it sounds a little empty but theres some sounds in there with alot of potential to be beefed up a little. the bassline needs to be filled out to make the track flow along better i think and to give the track stronger undertones overall. main lead has a nice sound to it but unfortunately theres just no big kick when it comes in it needs more oopmh behind it .. like the original does
plus this is proly easily fixed with some mastering but the volume fluctuates all throughout the track, for example whereever the beat drops out for a little while the rest of the track gets much louder and then equalises out again when the beat returns
you gota a very promising sound tho! tough track to remix especially if everyone's heard the massive original (real nice work btw MK-S u are god u know that? ) but keep it up mate! |
thanks for the comment mate..
Though this is my first project in reason, i still learning the art of substractor and malstorm, i also find reason real hard, because when you make something in it, and render it sounds a bit diffrint.
about the climax, i know it doens't have the bang, but i didn't wanne mess with the break alot, since i ALWAYS got stuck there, and quit a project :P.
For the baseline, i don't know it has 2 base sounds, layerd, i thought it would do, so if you got any tips would be nice
About the mastering thing, this is not mastered, i have no idea how to master a track, i try to EQ it as much as possible in reason, to make it sound clear, but i guess thats not enough.
thanks for the review.
