really, ya ever tried takin a ritalin? It will make your mind stop wandering, but I find that I need my mind to wander in order to function in life. I just start feeling depressed when I cant have my head floating in my own little world. But yeah, everyone has an ADHD friend, just try one, ya never know.
As for meditation, thats really simple actually. Just sit somewhere quiet where nothing can interupt you, preferably some place really familiar with you so that little noises and stuff dont mess u up. Sit/lie down however u can get comfy without sleeping. Then make your mind shut up altogether, think about absolutely nothing for as long as you can, you can get to the point were it makes yer body start shutting down almost like its falling asleep, juust hold off your thoughts and it will almost always make you feel better.
Something fun to try, do it for like 20 mins before walking into a party, youll find it much easier to start dancin and stuff, wont be nearly as self concious or shy or nervous or paranoid or anything, at least that works for me anyway.
