Which DJ's out there do you think are not getting the attention and repsect they deserve?
The only reason I bring this up is...I was cleaning out my room and I stumbled upon a CD I have been looking for, for months now! The album is "United States Of Trance" mixed by Christopher Lawrence.
Personally (to answer my own question) I think that Christopher Lawrence should be in the top 10 of DJ's. He stays true to his style of trance and he always spins GREAT songs. His mixing skills are VERY professional and he just knows how to get a crowd going. I saw him for the first (and only time) at the massive Ultra 5 in Miami this year and he blew me away more than anyone else there (which includes Tiesto, Oakey, Sasha, Diggers)...the next day I went out and bought "United States Of Trance" and "Exposure IV"...I dunno I just don't hear much about him and I think he is an amazing DJ, right up there with Digweed and Nick Warren (in my book).
So who's your choice?

I am in agreement with the thread starter about Christopher Lawrence. I saw him at a rainy and cold outdoor rave and he really got the crowd going despite it all.
I also noticed that the sleeves in his record case were all in horrible condition , how odd.

may sound stupid since he's already getting tons of respect, but i believe that ferry corsten lately has just been unbelievable....alot of people place him way behind tiesto, pvd, and armin and that ain't cool!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I will see CL anytime he comes to town! The guy is great, flawless mixing, and always a good tl, knows how to keep the floor movin. Not to mention that he is a hell of a nice guy and doesn't mind hangin out and talking after shows. . .

What do you put into your live sets that has made you a dancefloor favorite for the past decade?
"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge

Shane 54 most defiently. he is starting to DJ all across now, and with his undeniable productions, which are so unique compared to what is out right now... i see HUGE things for this man... as for Chirstopher Lawerence... i dont really like him, and i really hope he isn't the spokesman for trance in the U.S.! (or george acosta... oh man even saying that name makes me wanna throw up)
