Pretty cool percussions, but bass is a bit sluggish. It's got the lower end frequencies pretty thick (which is nice)...but it's just that it's hard to hear a distinct patter that it's playing cuz the notes just kinda mesh together. I prefer bass that's a tad bit more jumpy (higher attack basically). Pretty cool synths coming into the buildup now. Okay the song is fully buit up now and the main lead strings are playing. Pretty cool melo, at least for the first 2 chords, but after that it gets kind of ambiguous (melodically-wise). Anyway, overall, a pretty cool track, just make the lower end a bit bumpier and rhythmic, tweak the melody to loop better, and this should be a great track.

Good luck with it.

Loved thoes strings at the break, great melody...
The way the whole thing builds could use some more work imo, i didnt really liked the part between 4:44 - 5:10, its sounds really empty when you compare it to the rest of the track.
After that it only gets better, loved the saw synth...
Second buildup sounds pretty cool.
Great tune man, just as allways

massive as i've come to expect from you, Wim
ok... very professionally done of course as usual
one thing i think that could be improved on is the build-up from the start to about 3:00... it doesn't sound bad or badly arranged or anything... i feel that until 3:00, it just feels a bit too typical for my likings... personally, i suggest adding some sort of percussion or synth that when people hear it, they can identify it to "oh, that track has to be icone - forgiven not forgotten! i recognize the beginning"
I think the rest of the track is massive and the melody is good, although it could vary a bit from place to place instead of being the same...
good work with the low end bass and kick... i could totally hear the clarity of the carefully arranged low-end frequencies... (i tried going in to another room and listening... and it was still clear to me.. )
hi-end percussion sound good too, although 96 kbs was a bit low and mashed the clarity up a bit
good energy and feel to it... very iconish.. i like
2 thumbs up for this one

Thanks fellas
It took some time to get this bloody track online, never got to finish a lofi version or simply forgot hehe. I personally didn't have trouble with the low end on my speakers and heardphones, but that could be me of course.
DJ-Kreing^^ :: The part between 4:44 and 5:10 is that where the track builds to its climax? I kept it that way after hearing alot of signed tunes that had some sort of similar 'emptiness' to build the climax more. Well, I could always give it a try myself and see what it gives...
Thanks for the comment peepz!

as i said on the belgian forum.. great track, probably your best so far!
sounds very professional indeed, and the melody is awesome as well.
i noticed that "emptiness" too, but it's not a bad thing.
besides, in a club you don't here it anyway..
some sort of wave could solve the problem, but IMO it isn't really necessary.
overall, i love it!

Comments as I listen.
Sounds good so far, but I agree with whoever said that the bass could have a more prominent sound to it.
Good panning on the percs.
Some good acid like effects in the 2-3 minute range.
Good pads in the breakdown, pretty massive sounding.
The fake buildup would probably piss people off on the dancefloor, but I like it anyways =P
Sounds really nice after the break when it's all in. There's something about the kick that I'm not a fan of though, it sticks out well in the mix which is good but it sounds like maybe it's lacking some low end to it or something, not sure.
Overall a very solid production and not too much to add other than what I've already said. Good work!
Ok listened to it and I must say overall very very good, you've come a long way Wim... and im impressed with your sound now...
The kick first off needs more low end, and the bass a bit too, not enough low ends to fill a room...
Try changing to a differnt yet similar kick maybe for the mini 'breaks' part, or if you fix the kick it wont be so bad... low end low end low end...
Other than that I think the track is well structured, and the melody, although simple, totally grows on you...im diggin it for sure... very emotional...

Looks like everyone has touched on the constructive points, so I'll just add the fact that I love the track.
The Icone sound never disappoints. Melodic and uplifting, wee!

Hey thanks guys
I know about that low end, I seem to loose a bit when mastering it in T-Racks and converting it to mp3... I'll look into it.
Thanks,
Wim
