Xpander - follow-up

Lucky me I listened to a sample on www.juno.co.uk before ordering it... What a disappointment - if this sample reflects the whole track, I can't understand why it's so popular...

Does the sample reflect the whole track?

One more time - can anyone listen to that sample and say if the whole track is that boring?

look at the length of the sample, and then tell me if it reflects the whole track (being 11:30 long).

it also very much depends on where abouts in the tune the sample is taken from.

so in answer to your question, no, it does not reflect the whole track, and boring is definitly not a word i would use. genius, masterpiece, feat of production are all terms i would use.

But if that part is the main climax, then I...

Listen to that sample - http://217.158.65.110/MP3/SF0234.mp3

i cant listen to the sample, no sound on my comp at the moment.

but this track is not about a main climax, its about the track in its entirety. if you want to talk about climaxes there are probably about 6 i can think of off the top of my head.

as im sure you can tell, this track is right up there with beethoven and mozart in my estimation.

i repeat, listen to the whole track

You people are so convincing - I don't know what to do!

Damnit. Well, I guess it would look nice in my collection... I think I'll flip a coin.

There are three other great tracks on that EP too, check those out. And just so we get it over with: before you start a new thread. Xpander has had like 20 threads already, no need to start a new one.

even if you don't like xpander (god save your soul) there are 3 other crackin tunes on there aswell as that.

and even if you don't like them, sell it on ebay and you will get most of your money back

that's just after the build up. at first listen it's probably "boring" but I can say that after having listend to the entire track several times myself (before re-assessing my original judgement of the track) it is definitely one of the ultimate trance tracks.

add to that, seeing the DJ sasha Live @ Loveparade [Berlin2002] video and him dropping xpander in front of the thousands of love parade punters... just FKN CRAZY!

hope he's at ceamfields UK this year.. sasha + xpander live @ creamfields = i die

ch00000000000000000000000000000nnnnnnn!!!
