Read any good books lately?

I'm currently reading The Face by Dean Koontz. I''m only about 100 pages in, but so far it's pretty damn good! Anyone else reading anything good lately?

If you like modern fiction try anything by Chuck Pahlaniuk (author of Fight Club) or Arthur Nersesian(The Fuck-up is good... Dog Run is another great one).

And if you don't know about Kurt Vonnegut, definitely check out his writings.

Vonnegut is awesome

Slaughterhouse-5 , Cat's Cradle, & Breakfast of Champions are all great pieces of literature

I totally agree. I just read Slaughterhouse-Five for the first time, and it blew my mind.

The four books in Douglas Adams' The Hitchhikers Trilogy are also a very good read.

it is a pretty good book but not his best. worth a read. out of his latest i prefer "by the light of the moon".

just finished "fury" and "black river" by G M Ford. good books. Ford writes in a style that is in the middle between Michael Connelly and Harlan Coben. anyone who enjoys both of them, would enjoy fury and black river.

i recommend: anything with michael marshall smith, aka michael marshall

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind. Withering my intuition leaving all these opportunities behind. Feed my will to feel this moment urging me to cross the line. Reaching out to embrace the random. Reaching out to embrace whatever may come. I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow, to feel inspired, to fathom the power, to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human. With my feet upon the ground I lose myself between the sounds and open wide to suck it in, I feel it move across my skin. I'm reaching up and reaching out, I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me, whatever will be willed on me. And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been. We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been.

Spiral out. Keep going.
