Still in the works. Needs more percussion work and some re-arranging maybe. Definatly mastering, I think it sounds kind of muddy. Please comment on the melodies.

mmm very good
good title, reminds me of lordof the rings , when the trees attack hehe
and the background fx are nice because theyre winds which make it sound like trees
the melody is awsome, pure chillout style
no suggestions really hehe
keep it up

The only thing I can say is that I like it, I like it alot.

Thanks guys. I'm still working on this track, I think it needs a lot of mastering work. I don't know how to master in FL Studio at all. Right now I'm adding a dB Level display to every channel to look for clipping, then lowering the levels as neccessary. Though I still get clipping in the master channel, so I added a compressor, but then it makes the sound all muted.
I'm trying to get a nice compressor map for the kick, but I can't seem to make one. So the kick and bass sound all muddy.
I don't like using compressors, but sometimes it seems that I have to. Is there a better way to do this? Should I use an EQ or Soundforge???
Holy shit this is quality. Your melodies are very chillout and I would love to get a copy of this when your done to play out, this is seriously some nice work.

Thanks. Most of those melodies I came up with on accident, just messing around, not having anything particular in mind. They are really quite simple syncopation wise, and I just use the white piano keys for the harmonics. The main melody that plays throughout the track I actually had in an old flp file, and it was never used, it was just one pattern I made up, but left alone. Now I opened it up and thought it sounded kinda nice...
Sounds very nice, i like it . Im listening to the low fi version so i cant comment on the quality. Anyway, i think the kick gets abit weak somewhere. Tell me, In FL do the monitor bar show any red flames?
Leave your email here or pm me it i'll send you a preset i made for my kicks.

There are red bars on level monitor for the master channel even after I put a 0.0 gain compressor on it.
I like it, although it's a little hard to hear your mid bass between the kicks. Would be nice to have a more driving synth coming into the main beat. Similar to what comes in at 4:30 but maybe earlier in the song? Good track!

So you like that synth melody near the end? I though it sounded alright, but I didn't know if anyone else would like it much. Originally I made it more a GOA track I was working on, but it sounded too much like melodic trance, so I never got that done. My tracks always end up with many different themes in them for some reason.
I'm thinking of maybe keeping that synth in the end, but layering some pads over the top at first, so that it doesnt get boring with that main melody. Kind of like those scratchy pads in "Nyana" by Tiesto. I just gotta work with my VST plugins for a bit to get the right sound.
I'm still working on the damn bass though. I tried using a whole different instrument for the bass, and i think it sounds better, though a little cheesy.
