the cliche thread - (game, sort of)

the only rule is that at least every third posts needs to be a cliche and only a cliche.
i'll start off with a general comment. every general comment can either be followed by another general comment or instantly by a cliche, but again, at least every third post needs to be a cliche.
every cliche can either be followed by an equally or more effective cliche or a general comment.

i.e.

-this should be fun

-it's always fun until someone gets hurt

-i know. like that time i was playing 'capture the flag' at night when i was younger and ran into a pole full-speed that was made invisible by darkness. fun ended right there.

-what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger

you get the drift
