ahhh yes after months upon months of planning on going, i am happy to say i will finally be going to a casino for the very first time... in two weeks im hitting up Atlantic City... Finally i can put these poker skills of mine to work Wish me luck... and maybe sometime in teh future we can even organize a TA AC Meetup... but i get a certain percentage... please feel free to share any casino experiences you might have encountered, whether it be good or bad.. I plan on having a great time, cant wait!

nice i went to foxwoods a few weeks back... both ac and fx are kinda far... i hope u have better luck than i did... the fish were catching their hands on the river. i was down 120 playing hold'em on a 2/4 table, got it up to +40 but finished -40 on the night.... i think it was a victory to climb out of the $120 hole.

Im goin to AC this weekend...ill let u know if i win much, which would be surprising...since i havent gambled in a casino since losing 700 in 2 hrs in vegas

The only time I go I play the quarter slots. Last time I went I broke even so it was all good. I aint going back unless I have a couple of hundred $$ to spare. I have only been there twice but I can see how people get addicted to that shit.

Played in the Taj about 4 or 5 months back, $2/$4 at an incredibly competetive table. All the other casinos had very little action at that point of the day.

After that that started playing no-limit tourneys here and there, but haven't been back to AC since. There are enough poker clubs in the city to find competition, rather than going to AC.



BTW...If any of you play in no-limit tourneys with decent/good skill players, I would love to join you. I usually play with a group of friends about once a week.

my friend lucked out that same night. we were watching this one table for an hour while waiting for our turn. the people at the table were nothing but fish. my friend was after me and lucked out, sat that table, killed all the fish, chasing straight, flush draws. he pulled 200+ at a 2/4 table. that's f*cking amazing how bad those players and how much my friend ripped off of them.

at my table, unfortunately the fish caught two or three hands on the river, when i had them at the turn and bet aggressively. oh well.

I hate that river shit!. A couple of weeks back I had the same exact experience at my usual weekly game.. However this week im proud to say i got about $384 from my best friend's dad ... We played almost all night it was awesome.. When i go to AC im just going to scope out the tables see who are the fish, and who are the sharks, watch how people bet, and watch there body language accordingly, then actually gamble. If it looks too intimidating then i'll just be at the slots. If i decide to sit at the table I'll have to decide whether or not to sit to the right or left of a crazy better lol...

borgata brings AC back to life...just got back from mohegan...up about 200 there. as for hold'em...such a fun and exciting game! but nothing beats hitting big is roulette....yjea
