Cruise Trance:
A track that should be played while driving on the highway at night at a high speed. When you hear a Cruise Trance you feel like you're drifting away somewhere.
Examples:
ATB - Sunset Girl (Limited Club Mix)
Danny Howells - Kaito Release your Body
...Plus 12 other tracks.
Landscape Trance:
A track that should be played outdoors so everyone could hear it. When you hear a Landscape Trance you feel like you're out there.
Examples:
Plastic Boy feat. Rozalla - Live Another Life (Club Edit)
Active Sight - The Search for Freedom
...Plus 26 other tracks.
What do you think about these sub-genres?

I think that different people 'drift' away to different styles of music, really.

That shouldn't be played anywhere.
And these aren't real subgenres, you just made them up.
Well, if thats the case, then I propose... post-surfing trance. The most decrepit and sinister of all sub-etha genres!

thirst that once more the dark marvel of dreams...

I dunno if i agree with the sub-genres, but Tiesto - Dallas 4.p.m. is defiantely what you'd call 'cruise' trance

I'm all for the enthusiasm that mety333 is packing here.
Hey, keep repeating those terms and get new people to be aware of them, and you might have something on your hands.
Remember the origins of the word "quiz"? It's not that unlikely. Especially in this day and age, you can memepool something through the 'Net.

Its all music, why would someone care what genre a song comes from, if its good, its good. Even though its been mentioned already, you can't make up genres, based on where you listen to music. If i listen to trance on the toilet, i wouldn't call it toilet trance (although im sure this term has been heard a few times).

You didn't seem to get the picture.
I made up those sub-genres because when you listen to them you actually feel that way.
Go out with friends to a party or somewhere outside your city so you'll have to drive through the highway at night. Listen to the Cruise Trance tracks I gave and you should feel something unique.
It's hard to describe what you feel in that point.
I based those 2 genres on 2 tracks:
Cruise Trance: (discovered by me on 2004)
DJ Ton TB - Dream Machine
When my friend got his car licence a few months ago we drove to a party outside the city through the highway at night. We listen to a trance radio station and there was a track there that made me feel weird [DJ Ton TB - Dream Machine]. Hanging out with friends at night while driving through the highway...there was something there.
Landscape Trance: (discovered by me on 2003)
Moontrap - I Feel Free
I listened to that trance from the Tunnel Trance Force Vol. 25 (CD2) album. I was with my girlfriend at my room and we listened to music at a high volume. When I walked with her outside my building to say to her goodbye I heard my stereo playing at a high volume. I forgot to turn it off. While I was still outside my house I heard the track [Moontrap - I Feel Free] and I had a feeling that it was played somewhere outside in the world and not from my room.
When I heard the Cruise Trance I instantly remembered about the Landscape Trance I heard a year ago. At that moment I thought I should try to search for more tracks that feets in those sub-genres and I found out that I was right. I found quite a few.
I will post the full track list of all the Cruise Trance and Landscape Trance I found so far soon.
So what do you think?

Mr Mystery you are mysteriously critical of every single post you respond to...why don't you just not post instead of trashing everyone else's threads...
