More and more DJ's like Tiesto,SASHA, etc etc are talking about doing away with decks .So no vinyl or cd.They say mixing off a laptop is the future with far more possibilities.
Do you think they will lose any respect or will be admired for taking us into the digital age a step further with new ways of mixing and making up tunes live from massive tune libraries on the harddrive?
what are your thoughts about your favourite DJ stood behind a laptop?
i'd like the sets just the same, and as long as the tracks are good i dont care. the progress of technology cannot be deterred...

Wrong. Tiësto agrees that CDs are a big part of DJ'ing future, but he said he will stick with mostly vinyl. He doesn't plan on switching over.

Oh, my God.
In your other thread, you said most trance DJs stick with vinyl because it's easiest for them, yet now you say all trance DJs are switching over? If you're going to make an argument, at lease make some Goddamned sense.

Well, then it's your poor grammar that threw me off.
"he wont be able as most trance djs.
only the fittest will stay."
You'll have to tell me what that meant.

you said that Tiesto is using CDs but he wont leave vunyls and i said he wont be able to leave vinyls just like most djs.
only the fittest will stay - i mean those who learned to use a lot more then just vunyls which wont be the case for trance djs.

And how do you know this? Are you the Nostradamus of EDM? Do you spin at clubs and large events?
Probably not.

And so have most of us here. I'm willing to bet you're just talking about "listening to trance and going clubbing a lot."
