ive spent hours tryin to come up with a cool DJ name and i cant get anything. what are you guys' DJ names and how did you come up with them?

I had the same trouble with finding a DJ name, but if I get big and known, I'll change "DJ DeVayr" to something else.

pick a letter from the alphabet and then open the dictionary to a page with that letter and look for something... heh it could work. or you could think of something you like and find synonyms or something related to it.

my alias is cryo, cause my friend, who got me into DJing, was called pyro he nicked named me cryo. only downside, every person online can neither read or type it. most common variation is "cyro" and people say it the same way

ive been considering using DJ King, i know it sounds cheesy but my mum had the forsight to name me David J King, which means on my Cash Card it says Mr D J King

i dj under the name J3F (partly thanks to luke for coining it), as my name is jeff, and i produce (well, i havent for a while now but intend on doing again soon) under the name 3-F.. so its kind of a mixture of the 2

I produce under the nick OrgaNik, and I suppose I'd use the same nick for DJ'ing as well if I ever got to play out.

People call me Nik as it's a part of my first name so I added the "organic" bit to it since I'm always trying to merge organic sounds with electronica.

I chose the moniker 'Phoenix' because A. the mythology of the bird is interesting to me. B. The word itself means: A person or thing of unsurpassed excellence or beauty; a paragon (which also means a model of perfection). And C. most importantly, I think it sounds cool.

I use my real name.

I used to DJ big beat under the name of Mista Jones.

Nemesis something toally different that I don't use or DJ under.
Anything like that is a little bit cheesy if you ask me. Besides there has to be about 10 million different DJ Nemesis out there.

I produce under all sorts of things depend on what style it is.
