my mates dad owned a vuaxhall vectra for a hella long time and he loved it and didnt seem to have any problems with it. Dunno bout the other 3.

Skoda supposedly got a LOT better in 2000 but as said its just a cheap VW. Out of those cars though - I cant say for sure which has the least probs. Cheapish VWs *can* have pain in the ass problems and I imagine a Skoda could too - they just might be cheaper to fix. The Vauxhall is a GM product so I would be leery especially in Europe. The Pug is prolly part Nissan and very similar to the Citroen VX I think. French cars can really suck though.

If you dont want problems perhaps checking out Hondas and Toyotas could help, though they are occasionally boring and cost a bit more. My dad has a 89 Civic that is still running fine to this day and it was sporty when new|
