if you're going for a 4channel, this would probably be a good mixer, depends on what you would use it for... bedroom mixing this may be a good choice but if you plan on taking it to parties and whatnot you may want to shoot for a different mixer
My girlfriends dad owns an instrument shop in Oklahoma and ive spoken to him about this particular mixer and he says the quality isnt all that great when compared with other similar mixers
i really wanted the DJM-5/600 but its gonna take me a while to save for that and im pretty impatient and i could really use an extra channel or two and i was really looking at this one and he said that for my money id be better off going with like a SMX-401 or a PCV-1/275 as far as quality goes
a friend of mine owns the 626 and when i first saw it i was really impressed by the looks and all but it turned out to be not all that great performancewise - one of the beatcounters was broken or something and never changed the readout, the upfader knobs came off too easy and had poor sound, the crossfader seemed to lower the output levels when crossing over which was very noticable. When comparing quality, my 2channel Gemsound mixer showed to be more reliable than the 626.
i dont think the 700 wouold be a bad choice depending on what it was used for, but IMO there are better mixers in the same price range

I am not fond of the Pioneer, but I am DEFINETLY anti-Behringer. Why? I will tell you.
As you all know I work at the DJ section in a music store where we sold a lot of this mixer when it was released (called a hype). So far, almost EVERY sold product is returned for issues.
- The faders are OVERSENSITIVE to dust. They are bound to crack! If you ignore my post and still want to buy one, better buy a can of pressurized air with them! You'll need it!
- Internally they are NOT the kind of mixers you want to work with. You'd have to be a fool to work at Behringer's technical service, because the build up really sucks.
- Do NOT get surprised if your right and left volume of a channel (or even the master) gets COMPLETELY messed up.
As I said I don't like the Pioneer either, but I wouldn't call it a mixer full of shit (which I call a lot of mixer). However, THIS mixer DEFINETLY is full of shit.
Secondly DO NOT COMPARE BEHRINGER'S DJ MIXER WITH EURORACKS! Euroracks are pretty decent budget producermixers, but their DJ mixers suck ass!

I had a play on one of these not too long ago.
If your buying it for the fx, then forget it. They are terrible. It's meant to have a beat matching feature like the pioneer DJM-3000/600/500 but it just doesn't work at all. The sounds of the effects are very tinny and some of them just didn't seem to have much effect on the sound.
I didn't like the feel of the faders either. They seemed kind of loose and jiggly.
The EQs didn't seem terribly strong, but it does have kill switches which is a nice bonus on a mixer this cheap. THey were fun to play with.
If you get it, bear in mind your only getting what you pay for. =)
