sorry. i know this thread existed, but i had to vent off how i felt about the movie, and the search query engine is down right now. so i made a new thread.


i just saw the movie yesterday. i have to say i wasn't expecting anything spontaneous that would surprise me or anything. i expected the usual from matt stone and trey parker. well, i watched the movie, and have to say it was funny, but in a crude, adolescent cheap humor type of way. i am not saying that the movie was bad or anything, but this movie is for people who like to see the blood guts or the nasty humour, or the inane type of material like south park. i enjoy south park all the time, so i also enjoyed 'team america' in a kiddish kind of way.

if anyone has not seen the movie yet, this is a must see if you like crude humour. don't want to spoil the whole story, so i will just add input on small scenes that i found funny.

- the 'terrorists in france' bit
- the 'lease : the play' bit
- the 'osama in cairo' bit
- the 'north korean's president(can't remember his name) song' bit <== classy.. hahahaha .. i sometimes feel the same way he does..

- the 'sex' bits (yep there is sex in this movie of course.)
- the 'america' song <== kind of cheesy, but kind of funny in a way
- michael moore


sorry.. i added too much more than i should..

i loved that movie. it kept me laughing. the most funny parts for me were the sex part and the part where the guy from team america drops his guns and fights the terrorist in france. and the north korean dictator is named 'kim jung il' or something...

The lampooning of Hollywood celebs was hilarious FUCK YEAH!

When the Panama Canal breaks, and the natives are washed away and scream "noooo meeee gusssta" ...."noooo meee gussta" = HILARIOUS

and the fight sequences were funny too ..
i loved the way how trey and matt got the puppets to fight.
