So, what are some great movies that went unnoticed, never won any rewards or just kind of went under the radar?
I'll start things off with the Thomas Crown Affair. I just saw it recently again, and I forgot how good it was as the first time I saw it was like 5 years ago!

Pool Hall Junkies. This movie is awesome. Christopher Walken is the man.

the beach - i dont understand why this was such a flop. Its such a great movie. I guess you must have experienced proper beach life to have a greater appreciation for it. it portrays the atmosphere as a tourist in south east asia so well... loved every minute of it!
though City of God has grown to be quite big, a lof of people have never heard of it... I recon its one of the best movies ever made

Office Space wasn't mainstream, but it's a cult classic. Great film.
Human Traffic is awesome too. I used quotes from the movie on a disc I made. One from early in the movie (for early in the set), one from later (during the peak of the set), and a quote from the comedown (at the end). I just rented it again recently. Never gets old.

That old addage about the film is never as good as the book.....well it was completely wrong for the Beach. It followed the book pretty true until it got all screwed up right at the end. It was as if the movie ran out of budget....
I say Breakdown with Kurt Russell is one of the most underrated movies ever. My friends told me it was crap though.....

On IMDB its pretty high up though, but I never heard much about it.
If anything, I agree with Office Space, reminds me of my job haha.
One Movie I always liked was Boiler Room aswell.
Memento I think recieved alot of praise, but not many people I know have ever seen it.
