anyone ever use these? i have found that they do not work as well as the commercial would lead one to believe...in fact im wearing one right now and am quite positive the results will be less than satisfactory.

I've never used nose strips as they are pretty expensive and I doubt they actually work. Can't I just use gaffa tape?
It really depends on your type of skin. I have oily skin, and it doesn't do anything, but I know of people who love them.

i think they work ok...nothing great. you're right though...they don't work as well as the commercials would like to think they do hehe. especially since its a pain in the ass to position them and you can't really cover much of your face with them...

I think they are fun to use. Sure they don't pull out as much as you'd want them to, but they get a fair amount out. The best part is looking at the strip under the light, afterwards. You can see all the nasty shit that comes out.

I was really paranoid about even the slightest skin imperfection a few years ago.
Until I started looking into cosmetics products Pore strips were kinda ok, but in a month or 2-3, you would have blocked pores again.
The best thing I found to stop pores being clogged is to use an pore cleansing astringent around 3 times a day on your nose. Over time, these get in deep to dissolve oil build up and viola! Gone!

Nice skin:
Get in warm shower. It opens up the pores. Shower for a few minutes for steam and water to take effect.
Gentle cleanser such as Aveeno face wash to get surface layer of oils and stuff off.
then I use Noxeema Facial scrub with microbeads to exfoliate (gently! too hard rubs off too much skin and itll clog pores more when pores cant close for a day and get filled with dirt and then skin grows back and they close!)
then wash off with warm water.
Get out of shower.
Shave with Aveeno moisturizing shaving gel.
Wash face with cold cold water to close up all the pores so dirt doesnt get in.
use a SMALL amount of aveeno daily moisturizer and skin tone evener with some water and spread over face.
pat dry with towel
use Adidas aftershave on shaved parts.
re apply moisturizer as needed during the day but remember to get excess off!
also for better lips try some medicated lip balm!
oh and if you have really oily skin try a nice St.Ives hydroxy peel off masque at night...not too often though like 2x a week
