cool movie, too bad the supersaw-topic was so short, i would have loved to hear some more fat detuned saws with long release and maybe some fx... Anyhow, are there any mp3 samples available somewhere???

BTW, hat's off to Virus for venturing into an uncharted territory - audio over USB from synth??? that's interesting. Wondering what sort of standards they will comply to? I recon it will be something like ADAT over USB? And the whole thing about bypassing AD/DA is cool. It'd be nice to free up 2 channel strips on my mixer. Also, the wavetable integration is phat!!! wonder if there's a way to transfer wave samples from pc to virus (sampling synth)??? Looks like they may have inherited this piece from Waldorf (RIP ).
Anywho - waiting patiently..

awesome, simply outstanding, excelllent piece of gear
i didnt think it was that great. i mean, it started to sound a bit silly when he put unison on. and then it just became a case of 'how many detuned oscillators can i have?' as if you got a prize for breaking the 50,000 barrier. i think after a while, the more that demo wore on, the less pure it started to sound - it started to get...hmmm...sludgey. i did sit up when he upped the release and rattled off this little riff. couldnt believe none of the notes cut off with the amount of voices he was playing. some of the wavetables looked nifty. the best bit i felt was deffo the VST/i interface bit and the bit where theres no global effects you you can hold down a chord or an arp. change patches and it'll only transition after you release it. 0 glitches. i dunno why every synth doesnt have that ^______^ for 2.8 grand they can take a running jump though. the alesis fusion 6HD is gonna cost half that and i was far more impressed with the video demo for that.
