Manvel - Touched by the Wind
After long hours of production the track is complete!
I'm realy proud of this track because I tried many new sounds/approaches when working on it. The name isn't a "copy" of Envio's tune's name...it's more of the feeling I get when listening to this track .
Title: Touched by the Wind
Length: 9:09
Size: 6.29 mb
Enjoy!
Comments and feedback is always appreciated
*UPDATE* If for some reason you cant download the full 9 minutes of the track please try again at a later time...my host tends to cut off the file at maximum downloads. sry
- i like how the melodies enter the mix, and how they create a good atmosphere with subtlety
- breakdown is nice, good to hear lots of attention to detail, though those bg pads could be a bit louder maybe
- melody that comes 3:48 should stand out more imo
- before the kick comes back, you should put in a noise swell to build up tension more
- must be because of quality, but the mix sounds a but muted
- overall, nice track - very much up to the standards of modern trance

I'm glad u noticed the detail in the break man . I worked on the break for a long time hehe. I was thinking of putting a noise swell kinda effect before the climax like u suggested but I thought it would be too much...i decided to keep the track as clean as possible at the end.
@Pascal -
Glad you enjoyed the track m8. We should start working on our track soon...I've got an old render of it on my hd here...if u wanna check it out drop me a line.

Well look who it is...
You know I told myself that I would mail u a copy of my first ever signed vinyl just to get back at u for everything u did. remember this? "you will never be anything or get anywhere...etc.." well I'm about to prove u wrong mofo
omg the leads own! I love the sounds and synths... I would have chosen a different sounding guitar synth tho
the mix sounds good and the kick is phatness... the whole track is full and phat... there's nothing to complain here
I guess I'd have to hear it in hifi to to see how the highs sound since the high hat reverb is too long in the beginning... I would have shortened it, btu that could be my taste.. love that Italian sounding guitar riff towards the end.

Glad u like it Gerry
About the reverb on the perc...It was intentional. The reverb makes the percussion sound more full when played together imo. The guitar rif was influenced by Armenian/Arabic sounds :P.
