Rofflez at the United States of America.

A free country, where nobody will go hungry, and all are free to get as fat as they please, and move to canada for free health care.

But yet, still, obese hormonal teenaged girls will kill eachother for a hamburger.

quote:

ST. LOUIS - A 12-year-old girl is accused of killing her 9-year-old sister in a dispute over a hamburger.

The girl was charged with murder under the juvenile code, and a Family Court judge will decide if she should be tried as an adult, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday.

The sisters were home alone on Dec. 22 when the older girl reported finding her sister lifeless on the floor. Authorities could find no evidence of violence, and Medical Examiner Michael Graham ruled the cause of death undetermined.

But police received a phone call from a social worker Feb. 1 saying the older sister was in a hospital psychiatric unit suffering visions and nightmares. Police said she told staff at the hospital that she strangled her sister during a quarrel over a hamburger.

On Monday, Graham ruled the case a homicide and said the victim had injuries on her neck that were consistent with strangulation.

The 12-year-old remains hospitalized and could be placed in a juvenile center as early as this week. The newspaper did not use her name.

If convicted as a juvenile, the maximum penalty would be confinement until her 21st birthday.

“It’s got to be devastating for the mother,” detective Tim Reagan said. “I can’t imagine losing a child to the hands of a sibling.”

wow what a horrible story... althought considering the ages of the girls I can't understand why you'd generalize American in your thread title.

unless its the fact that she was strangled over the hamburger... But can't that same thing happen in any other country?

replace hamburger with , i dunno, swedish fish or something.. and replace St. Louis with Brussels, Belgium...

i dunno...

People do not kill each other over hamburgers.

Do not be so hasty to judge this situation.

Or, I know, I'll make up some idiotic conjecture- that's the trend of things. Canadians judge things too quickly regardless of their sociopathic knowledge.

Wow, what a vapid statement.

She should have just gotten high, when you are wasted strangling someone would have just been to much effort.

If we don't bash America, who are we going to bash?

It's like an international sport. Americans don't use the metric system. Americans don't use their feet when playing football (not as much as we do). Heck, they're even lazy enough to name their country so they just named it after the continent! Why can't we pretend we're outraged!? It's even better when someone doesn't realise I'm joking and quotes this text because of the first line. We then will be arguing about absolutely nothing. Daily stress relieved on the internet. That's just perfect. In fact, you're barely paying attention to what it's written here, and you're either scrolling down the mouse obliviously or you're reading this expecting a punch line. There's no punch line, forget it. This is just a bait. Or maybe it's not even a bait. That's the beauty of this post. It is what it isn't, and it's not what is seems to be. Philosophies could be created upon this post. Maybe even an artistic movement, if this had not already happened eighty years ago. Bugger.

Despite of it, I don't agree, I don't disagree and, before all, I'd like to state that I'm not going to be indifferent about it. Down with the US!

So you are saying that you yourself are out of order for being 80 years to late?

Many kids in America get everything they want. Everything is easy for them (see: Transportation, Television, Fast Food). And with graphic violence and murder regulalry appearing on every cable network (another pointless amenity) from Cartoon Network to CNN, why wouldn't a child rationalize that killing their sibling is a great way to not only obtain a hamburger but unmeasured attention and praise from an unknowing parent?

It's funny because it's true. Did you post that yourself, or you did you find that somewhere?
