Vestax PCV275 - Will it fit in a 10inch slot?

Hi, I have a Vestax PCV275 mixer, but not with me right now so I cant measure it. I want to get a coffin case for it, but I'm not sure if it'll fit in a standard 10inch mixer slot? Might be a tiny bit big? If you dont include the metal face that sticks out I think it might just be, but the does the 'standard' 10 inches include that to?

Should fit fine IF that is measuring to the edge of the rack ears (i presume it is)

My "ten inch" Numark is 10" across including the ears on both sides. I would be worried that the 275 might not fit.

I'm fairly sure its just under 10 inches at the base, but more if you include the rack ears. I'll just hope 10 inches means 10 at the base.

I had the same situation.

its about 14 inches wide so it wont fit in a standard 10" coffin. The only other standard size coffin is the 19" i belive. This is the only thing that sucks about the 275.

if I were you, I'd wouldnt bother with the coffin. they are very big and awkward to move around. I just got a couple flight cases for my tt's and leave the mixer all by itself. It;s much more convienient this way and its easier to deal with.

Are there any coffins that would allow my CDJ800s and my PCV275 to fit? I kinda have the same problem, but want to fit my 2 CDJs in one also...

I doubt there is any coffin that fits the 275 unless you get it custom made. It sux, i know

I'm not sure if there are coffins that fit the CDJ's, if there are im sure they would fit the 1000's not the 800's (or are they the same size?). Maybe there are flight cases for the cdj's, im not sure.

Thanks for that advice, you probably saved me about £50 and lots of hassle after I got one that didnt fit then had to flog it on again..

I've got an offer for one thats big enough for a DJM300, which by my reconing is ever so slightly bigger than a PCV275 width wise, so it should work.
Need a coffin cos I have to take my CD decks and mixer between 2 places, using the train/underground quite a bit, and a suitcase doesnt protect them enough.

Cheers

Yes, the PCV-275 will fit in a 10" slot. I bought myself the 10" mixer flight case by Road Ready and the mixer fits perfectly. I remember emailing PSSL about it (I had the same question as you) and they said it would definitely fit. Oh, I just read that you need a coffin and not individual cases. I highly advise against getting a coffin just because of the bulkyness and the weight. But if you need one, I guess you need one, so just ignore my flight case comments.
