take that ninja gaiden!

Er... You shouldn't compare a PS2 game to an XBOX game.

Not one to look at ratings and judge, more of a buy and see if I enjoy it or not type of gamer. Although all the games I have played that got 9's or above I have enjoyed. Will be getting this in a couple of weeks unless Im too into my PSP.

ummm yeah this game still can't touch Ninja Gaiden, fuckin ps2 fanboy, god of war is good but for arcade difficulty and action nija gaiden is better imo. By the way I do have all three current consoles and have actualy played this god of war and although it is a great PS2 action game, side by side against ninja gaiden it looks and plays like ass!! However for a ps2 game its one of the best action games you can get for the system

What's this "arcade" difficulty you speak of?

By the way, comparing the two games is really stupid. One is meant to play as a modern day rendition of the old, fun, run-around-beat-em-up's while the other is more tactical and generally built so as to challenge the user. I'll give you one guess as to which is which.

exactly that was what I was getting at but basically due to the intial post of "take that ninja gaiden" I was simply offering a comparison of both in terms of quality! By arcade difficulty, is that an actual difficulty in the game? Or you comparing it to old/new arcade games and/or their options??

by arcade difficulty I mean the normal setting in which an arcade unit would be set to! This is to basically ensure that plenty of quarters will be pumped into the game for continues! there is no default arcade setting I was just comparing again

I will say though if you have Ninja Gaiden and think your good get the hurricane pack its extremely difficult

I think the game is cool as hell. My friend showed me where to get a demo and it's worth buying. You can go to their site and talk to other players and get some good tips. I think you can still get a demo too. www.playwiththegods.com

More serious gamers are recommended to rent the game. Apparently even the 'God' difficulty isn't THAT hard.

Then again, if you have the money, this is a PS2 gem. Go for it! Haha.

exactly this is a great ps2 game but to say "take that ninja gaiden" is an extreme overstatment, I'd take ninja gaiden over gods anyday
