He never ceases to amaze me. What I love about James is that he always looks like he's having more fun than anyone there. THIS IS WHAT EVERY DJ SHOULD STRIVE TO BE LIKE. Most DJs look like they're constipated when they spin.

Him and Cattaneo were tag-teaming for a bit, and Cattaneo was actually keeping up. Very nice.

Then came Lavelle. His first 25 minutes or were ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS. He played non-electronic music (yes, rub your eyes and read that again).

Ok, let's review: This is Winter Music Conference. People came to hear electronic music - not 80's crap mixed in with some newer...ummmm...crap that sounded worse than two cats having sex.

If you're gonna attempt to play non-electronic music, please make sure the tracks DO NOT suck more than some of the whores I met this weekend. You guys have no idea what this did to the party. People were looking at each other and saying, "wtf?! did we enter the Kenny Rogers concert by mistake?" Yes, that bad.

After he decided that he had tortured us all enough, he got a bit better. But the damage was done.

Then Sasha came on, and he was pretty good. He even played some Swedish house mafia records. I stayed 'til about 4 a.m., right before Diggers got on.

i got there around 2 am and the place was stuffed. The set up in there was AMAZING! Its so funny trying to find your friends because everyone is in a different section. I didn't even bother to go down stairs even though it looked fun. When the smoke was teasing the crowd and then just spilled out over the crowd, looked intense! The after party was no joke.

Sasha and John Diggers together are f'ing AMAZING! The chemistry them two have is perfect. So glad I didn't miss out on this. I wanted them to play longer

haha i dunno about soft but i was just loving sasha and diggers. i got there too late to see anyone else. But yeah it was FREEZING in there! Javi had to take off his shirt and give it to me and i was STILL cold..

There's the two big things of this event.. first I'll talk about the downside... I got Mob in the will call, and took me till 3 to get to the floor, but enjoyed the view while in the stairs.. missed everyone .. saw diggers and sasha, I had a great time enjoying the lasers, the view, the vibe.. it was just a different level.. I thought it was great for an after after partying hard in Ultra ( like myself ).. I think they just took it to another level. Perhaps if my legs wouldnt have been killing me, I would've jumped around a bit more heh.. other then that, I was just psyched with the lasers in pair with the music. I know this guys experiments with sounds, test the crowd and reaction, and tours the end it was just wow anthemic feel..

My only regret was not getting there at 11p to see James and Hernan start to finish. And yeah the crowd really got on Lavelle's ass....
